Abstract:
To reduce cost of manufacturing a nurse call slave unit made disposable for suppressing expansion of infection.SOLUTION: A nurse call system includes an exclusive nurse call slave unit 1 exclusively used by one patient, and a relay instrument 2 connected between the exclusive nurse call slave unit 1 and a wall-embedded type slave unit 3. The exclusive nurse call slave unit 1 includes a general purpose plug 14 to be connected to the relay instrument 2. The relay instrument 2 includes a plug 24 to be connected to the wall-embedded type slave unit 3 and a general purpose jack 26 to which the general purpose plug 14 is connected. With a configuration that allows the exclusive nurse call slave unit 1 to be connected to a plurality of types of relay instruments 2 through the general purpose plug 14, it is not necessary to prepare the exclusive nurse call slave unit 1 in different configurations so as to match the type of the wall-embedded type slave unit 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
