Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform a call only when a patient truly needs to perform the call, while predicting necessity of the call.SOLUTION: A nurse call system with a prediction function predicts timing at which a nurse call having a call type occurs subsequently to the last call having the call type, on the basis of call history information showing a nurse call for each call type and the call's occurrence time; makes a nurse call slave machine 10 display a message which is a predetermined message corresponding to the call type and prompts a call, and an alternative for making a patient select whether to perform a call, when current date and time reaches the prediction timing; and notifies a nurse of occurrence of the patient's abnormality when predetermined time has passed while no alternative is selected. Thereby, the patient can perform a call for the patient's intention only when the patient feels necessity of the call, by the nurse call system making the message for prompting the call and the alternative be displayed without automatically performing the nurse call at the predicted timing.
