To identify the type of a call while indicating the status of use of various devices and to effectively use display lamps of the various devices even when the various devices are not used.

Connection terminals for the various devices for connecting the various devices which detect specific status of patients are arranged with slave units. A ward area is formed by arranging channel selection parts 26 provided with normal display lamps L1 and display lamps L2 for the various devices. In the case of a call from a slave unit, only the normal display lamp L1 of the corresponding channel selection part 26 is allowed to blink. In the case of a call from one of the various devices, the normal display lamp L1 of the corresponding channel selection part 26 and the display lamp L2 for the various devices are allowed to blink. In the case of a call from a special slave unit which is arranged in a special space, the display lamps L2 for the various devices of all the channel selection parts 26 in the ward are allowed to blink. Also, when the various devices are connected with connection terminals for the various devices and no call is made, the display lamps L2 for the various devices of the corresponding channel selection parts 26 are allowed to be lit.
