A nurse call master unit includes a control section which displays patient selection buttons for displaying information on a specific patient on a display screen, and displays call information and the patient information in a pop-up manner on the screen. If a patient selection button is touched (S1), the control section recognizes the touch position of the patient selection buttons (S2), and displays the patient information in a pop-up manner on a portion of the display screen according to the touch position of the patient selection buttons (S3). The control section determines whether the patient information to be displayed can be fitted in the display screen or not (S4), and determines whether the patient information overlaps the call information or not (S6), to display the patient information to be easily recognized.
