To record a patient being an object of nursing and a time when nursing is performed correctly as far as possible, when a medical worker has performed the nursing without accurately setting a range to recognize a medical worker recognition device held by the medical worker.

In the nurse call system, a sensor 1 to detect a person near a bed and a reader 2 to read a medical worker identification device are provided. When the sensor 1 detects a person and the reader 2 reads the medical worker identification device, even when clocking of a prescribed time is started by a timer and the clocking of the prescribed time by the timer is finished, when the sensor 1 detects the person and the reader 2 reads the same medical worker identification device, the clocking of the prescribed time is started again by the timer. Then, when the sensor 1 does not detects a person and the clocking by the timer is finished, the total of time clocked by the timer is recorded as nursing time information and the sensor 1 is specified by a call signal output by the sensor.
