To provide a nurse call system in which a medical worker can easily differentiate a call with a slave set from a call with another device and promptly take actions for the call with the other set.
The slave set 1 and the other device 10 for detecting the predetermined state of a patient are connected to a master set 40, and a notice of a notice section 43 is differentiated depending on a case where the master set 40 inputs a calling signal and a case where it inputs a detection signal. If a response operation is performed for the slave set 1, a communication channel between the slave set and a communication device 30 is formed, and if a response operation is performed for the other device 10, response voice data are output to the communication device 30. Thus, the calls with the slave set 1 and the other device 10 are noticed differently from each other. Since the response voice of a call with the other device 10 is automatically output from a speaker 32 of the communication device 30 only by performing a response operation, the medical worker need not make conversation in response to a call with the other device 10 and can dash off to the sickroom of the patient who has made the call.
