The nurse call system includes: a nurse in charge specification part 28 for specifying a nurse in charge of a calling patient and the contact point thereof when a predetermined operation is carried out after a response to the call from cordless handsets 4 and 5 is performed; and a display control part 29 for displaying a call button for calling the specified nurse in charge. When the nurse other than the nurse in charge responds to a call and the nurse wants to consult the nurse in charge about a way of an appropriate response to the patient, the nurse can call to the nurse in charge by only selecting the patient to whom the nurse has responded from a call history and pushing the call button.
