Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call system capable of storing a video that records the condition of a patient at the time of his/her making a call operation so that a nurse can check the condition of the patient later through the video if the nurse could not answer the call.SOLUTION: A nurse call system includes a camera 6 for capturing each patient. A nurse call master unit 3 and a portable terminal 4 include a display section 3b and a display 4a for displaying the captured video of the camera 6, respectively. A control unit 5 includes: a call history storage section 55 for storing a history of calls made by a nurse call slave unit 1; a video storage section 56 for storing the captured video of the camera 6; a camera information storage section 53 for storing the association between the nurse call slave unit 1 and the camera 6; and a control unit CPU 57 for controlling the camera captured videos. When a call by the nurse call slave unit 1 is generated, the control unit CPU 57 acquires the captured video of the camera 6 associated with the nurse call slave unit 1, transmits the video to the nurse call master unit 3 and the portable terminal 6, and stores the captured video in the video storage section 56 in association with the call history in the case where the call was not answered.
