Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a medical worker to confirm whether or not a call operation unit of a nurse call slave device fails.SOLUTION: A nurse call slave device 1 stores information on a current date when a call operation unit 3 is operated, as slave device operation history information; and outputs a call signal. A failure confirmation device 10 stores information on a current date when a call signal is input, as history information. The failure confirmation device 10 determines that the call operation unit 3 does not fail, when determining that history information within a predetermined period after occurrence of slave device operation history information is stored; and determines that the call operation unit 3 fails, when determining that history information within the predetermined period is not stored. Thereby, the failure confirmation device 10 notifies of a result of determining that the call operation unit 3 does not fail, in the case that the failure confirmation device 10 inputs a call signal within the predetermined period after a date when the call operation unit 3 is actually operated, because it is determined that the call signal generated by operation at the call operation unit 3 is transmitted normally.
