Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call system in which, when rewriting firmware of nurse call equipment, the firmware can be rewritten without forcibly stopping the equipment, by providing in a controller a function for determining an operational situation of equipment of a rewrite destination.SOLUTION: A controller 4 includes a rewrite information storage part 42 for storing firmware of at least any one of equipment within the system and storing a state monitor table that manages a progress of firmware rewrite processing. A controller CPU 44 discriminates an operation state of rewrite target equipment, implements write of firmware by transmitting a mode shift signal for shifting to a rewrite mode to implement write of firmware to target equipment which is determined to be in the standby state on the basis of a state discrimination result, and implements rewrite of firmware by transmitting the mode shift signal after shifting to the standby state to target equipment which is determined to be in the use state.
