Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate necessity of a complicated registration procedure when a wireless type nurse call slave machine which is used by a family member of a patient is lent to the family member of the patient.SOLUTION: A nurse call system comprises: a receiver specification part 65 for specifying a receiver 2 disposed to which, a nurse call slave machine 1 is the closest, the nurse call slave machine being carried by a family member of a patient, out of receivers 2 installed on each of bedsides; a patient specification part 66 for referring to a database 61 in which a receiver ID and a patient ID are associated and stored, for specifying a patient corresponding to the receiver 2 which is the closest to the nurse call slave machine; and a call notification part 68 for performing notification as call from a family member of a patient specified by the above-mentioned step, when a call button is operated by the nurse call slave machine 1. When the call button is operated on the nurse call slave machine 1, the patient corresponding to the nurse call slave machine 1 is automatically specified, and notification can be performed, as call from the family member of the specified patient.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
