Abstract:
To appropriately grasp whether or not a patient is present in a sickroom.SOLUTION: A nurse call system 100 includes: a nurse call master unit 3 installed in a nurse station for responding to a call from a patient; a corridor lamp 2 installed at an entrance of each sickroom having unique identification information; a camera 29 mounted on the corridor lamp 2 which is capable of imaging a common area of a hospital; and a corridor lamp CPU 21 for transmitting object person information for identifying the object person and identification information on the corridor lamp to the nurse call master unit 3 upon detection of the object person in an image captured with the camera 29. The nurse call master unit 3 notifies the object person information and the identification information, the object person being a patient associated with a sickroom.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
