Abstract:
This nurse call system is provided with a nurse call device and a control appliance. The nurse call device includes a transmission switch, a nurse call communication unit for performing wireless communication with the control appliance, a nurse call control unit which transmits a call request via the nurse call communication unit when the transmission switch is operated, and a power supply battery. The control appliance includes an appliance communication unit which receives the call request transmitted from the nurse call device, an appliance control unit which controls communications with the nurse call device by the appliance communication unit, and a condition determining unit which acquires condition information indicating the condition of a user, and determines the condition of the user from the condition information. The appliance control unit transmits a control signal to the nurse call device via the appliance communication unit in accordance with the result of the determination of the condition of the user by the condition determining unit, to change an operating mode of the nurse call control unit from a normal mode to a power-saving mode.
