Abstract:
To provide a nurse call system enabling a medical worker to quickly respond to a patient's call to be dealt with urgently while reducing a load on the medical worker as much as possible.SOLUTION: When a nurse call is made, a nurse call system determines whether a nurse call slave machine makes the call according to a patient's intention or makes the call by detecting an abnormal state of the patient. When it is determined that the nurse call slave machine makes the call according to the patient's intention, a portable terminal is caused to notify irrespective of a position of the portable terminal. When it is determined that the nurse call slave machine makes the call by detecting an abnormal state of the patient, an installation position of the nurse call slave machine is specified. A position of the portable terminal is specified on the basis of a signal from the portable terminal, and a portable terminal at the shortest distance from the installation position of the nurse call slave machine is caused to notify.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
