The subject apparatus 2 for feeding nursery boxes is equipped with a nursery box-storing part 3 for storing empty nursery boxes B in a state stacked as steps and a nursery box-taking out part 4 for scraping off and taking out nursery boxes B in the lowest stage one by one from the nursery box-storing part 3, and the apparatus is further equipped with a conveyer part 5 for successively conveying stacked plurality of pairs of nursery boxes B for supply to the nursery box-storing part 3, nursery box-storing part state-detecting sensors 55 and 56 for detecting that the nursery boxes B are kept in a state not larger than prescribed numbers, and a nursery box-supply part 6 for taking out a pair of nursery boxes B for supply from the end on downstream side of the conveyer part 5 and supplying the boxes B onto the nursery boxes B in uppermost stage in the nursery box-storing part 3 when the above state is detected.
