Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nursery container capable of increasing the length of a root ball without increasing the height of the nursery container, suppressing the defective growth of a seedling in oblique setting and simplifying the apparatus constitution in the case of hillside culture.
SOLUTION: This nursery container 10 is obtained by opening the top of a cylindrical body 11 and forming a soil stop part 11b at the lower end and has a circular cross section. Furthermore, the cylindrical body 11 having a convergent two-stage taper and made of a synthetic resin has a shape in which the center line C connecting the central point Pa at the top to the central point Pb at the lower end is tilted at about 22.5° to the vertical line when a flange 11a in the top edge is kept in a horizontal state.
