Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate some defaults found in a bolt of prior art used for a structure such as a bridge and the like that occurrence of looseness at a nut due to influence such as a continuous vibration leads to a tremendous accident requiring a fast countermeasure and in turn there may occur many cases that the number of bolts is tremendous and they are frequently used at many locations where direct confirmation cannot be carried out, and at present it is hard to detect nut looseness at early time and as its cause, it is possible to say that a practical appropriate sensor is not present and to provide a practical sensor for detecting looseness of the nut.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a sensor for informing a looseness of nut by releasing conduction of an electric circuit in regard to a bolt used at a structure such as a bridge when a rotational displacement of counter-clockwise direction through looseness of nut occurs to exceed a prescribed value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
