Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obviate masking treatment for an end part for which labor and time are required and reduce the cost for manufacturing a cylindrical drum which needs no film coating on the end part.
CONSTITUTION: A coating treatment is applied on the whole cylindrical drum 100. The cylinder is extended and a blade chuck 27 is opened by pushing up a cam through a push rod and a rod 17 for actuating the cam and the lower end part of the cylindrical drum 100 is entered therein and immersed into a solvent 29 in a solvent tank 11. The cam 20 is lowered and the lower end part of the cylindrical drum 100 is clamped by closing the blade chuck 27 by means of a tensile spring 28 and a rotation driving part driven by means of a transmission belt is rotated to rotate integrally the solvent tank 11 with a freely movable blade chuck mechanism 24 and the peripheral face of the lower end part of the drum is rubbed by means of the blade chuck 27 and the released film is dissolved in the solvent 29 and is discharged.
