To screw connecting nuts, in a continuous way, on and off hose ends juxtaposed in rows with such a slight clearance between one and the next as is inaccessible to existent tools such as wrenches to uninstall hoses arranged within machines equipped with a hydraulic mechanism.

This nut screwing tool comprises a gripping member 6 for gripping a split socket body 1, and a handle 13 for supporting the lower end of the gripping member 6. The handle 13 can jackknife in the middle. Circumferential square grooves 17 are defined around the socket body 1, and circumferential square projections 16 are formed on the side of the handle 13 in opposition to them. Just under the socket body 1 is placed a feed gear 8 meshing with teeth 5. Under the feed gear 8, stop members 91 and 92 of such a length as brings their points engaging with the feed teeth are journalled in left and right. A cam 10 operated by a lever 12 to drive the left or right stop member 91 or 92 limits the rotation of the socket body 1 to either counterclockwise or clockwise one accordingly.
