Abstract:
To provide a method in which a nut seat can be efficiently formed at a low cost on both end circumferential edge portions of a bolt hole for fitting a hub in a wheel disk for vehicle, and an excess metal is nut protruded from the disk.
In a preliminary forming process, a shallow recess 11 larger in diameter than a bolt hole 10 is formed by coining in a circumferential edge portion of the bolt hole 10. In a main forming process, the nut seat 15 is formed by coining at a location corresponding to the shallow recess 11.
