Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nut tap hardly causing a nut with damage on an end part of a female thread during production of nuts.SOLUTION: A nut tap 1 comprises: a thread part 15 having a thread 18 in an outer periphery for processing a female thread 17 in an inner periphery of a nut blank Nfed from a front side of an axial direction; and a shank 16 disposed on the rear side of the thread part 15 continuously thereto in the axial direction for receiving a nut Nwith the female thread 17, processing of which by the thread part 15 is complete. An front end part of the shank 16 in the axial direction is provided with a tapered surface 23 for preventing a turnaround of the nut Nfrom the shank 16 to the thread part 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
