PURPOSE: To obtain a nutrient composition comprising α-linolenic acid and a higher aliphatic alcohol, especially octacosanol having physiologically active function by itself and further synergistically enhanced physiologically active function.
CONSTITUTION: A nutrient composition of edible fats and oils comprises ≥20wt.% α-linolenic acid and a 22-38C higher aliphatic alcohol.
