Abstract:
To provide an oar for a rowboat wherein one can efficiently paddle without much fatigue and raise pitch.
The oar 1 for the rowboat is provided with a shaft 2 for operating rowing, and a paddle part 3 provided in at least one end side of the shaft 2. The paddle part 3 is formed by a tabular paddle face 5, and it is formed with water receiving part 4 in a downstream side circumferential portion of water flowing on the paddle face 5 when the oar 1 is paddled or its neighborhood portion.
