Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object approach detection device capable of reducing an amount of calculation for detecting an approaching object and reducing power consumption.SOLUTION: The object approach detection device provided with a first lens group 13G and a second lens group 14G which are arranged so as to image the same target object and have different focal lengths from each other, includes: an imaging unit that acquires first and second image information; an object detection unit 23 for detecting presence or absence of an object on the basis of image information; and an object approach determination unit 24 for determining an object approaching when a time difference between a first time at which the image information at the time when the object was detected and the second time at which the image information was acquired is less than or equal to an approach determination threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
