Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detecting device that allows, even in a configuration of combining a plurality of sensors, no undetectable area to be formed among the sensors.SOLUTION: An object detecting device that comprises an object detecting sensor 100 that detects adjoining objects extending along the edges of a door 10 for opening and closing an aperture provided in a vehicle body is so configured that the object detecting sensor is split into a first sensor 120 and a second sensor 110 in the intermediate part, an offset part 121 bent in a crank shape is formed at the end of the first sensor toward the second sensor, and the end of the second sensor toward the first sensor is so arranged as to at least partly overlap the offset part of the first sensor in the lengthwise direction of the object detecting sensor.
