Abstract:
To provide an object detection device capable of outputting target coordinates of an object while removing ghosts.SOLUTION: An object detection device includes a receiving circuit, a calculation circuit, a selection circuit, and a determination circuit. The receiving circuit receives a reflected wave according to a distance to a target. The calculation circuit calculates candidate points and distance value information relevant to the respective candidate points based on a first reflected wave or a second reflected wave received at a first position and a first reflected wave or a second reflected wave received at a second position. The selection circuit selects a candidate point among the plurality of candidate points according to an order indicating a preferential order. The determination circuit determines a point to be the target based on candidate points selected by the selection circuit and a candidate point that changes more than a prescribed distance due to a difference in a receiving position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
