PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object identification system with improved communication reliability.SOLUTION: An object identification system 200 includes one or a plurality of light receiving units (a first light receiving section 101a and/or a second light receiving section 101b) that receive outgoing light L containing an optical signal indicating identification information for identifying a mobile unit from the mobile unit, a control unit 102 connected to the light receiving unit, and a wireless communication unit 103 connected to the control unit 102. When the light receiving unit receives the emitted light L, the control unit 102 acquires the identification information and upon reception of a radio wave R containing the identification information and service information necessary for the mobile unit to receive a predetermined service from the mobile unit via the wireless communication unit 103, the control unit 102 acquires the service information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
