Abstract:
To provide an object recognition device capable of enhancing object recognition accuracy in a distant area.
An object recognition device 1 includes a stereo camera 17, and a processing device 20 that processes images acquired by the stereo camera. The processing device calculates parallax from the two images acquired by the stereo camera, detects a three-dimensional object on the basis of the calculated parallax, generates a luminance change pattern of the three-dimensional object along a horizontal line in one image of the two images acquired by the stereo camera, and executes the search of the luminance change pattern toward a more distant side than a detection position of the three-dimensional object.
