To provide an object installation mechanism capable of installing an object with a simple structure and preventing the object from falling down in a case of an earthquake etc.SOLUTION: In replacement of a conventional object installation mechanism, an object installation mechanism according to the present invention comprises an upper mount and a lower mount provided at an installation place to support the upper mount from below. One of the upper mount and lower mount is provided with a pair of guiding parts which are arranged apart from each other in a front-rear direction when viewed from a top-bottom direction, and the other of the upper mount and lower mount is provided with a pair of guided parts which are arranged apart from each other in the front-rear direction and guided by the guiding parts in a reciprocally movable state in the front-rear direction. At least one of a pair of front and rear guiding-part inner parts has a guide groove which is a long-sized groove extending in the front-rear direction, and at least one of a pair of front and rear guided-part inner parts has a wheel which is guided by a pair of right and left edge parts, forming a contour extending in the front-rear direction of the guiding groove, to roll in the front-rear direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
