Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object transferring device suited for transferring a vehicle on a floor.SOLUTION: The object transferring device takes the place of a conventional object transferring device for transferring a vehicle on a floor, and includes: a carriage body having a carriage frame being a structure, and at least two travel units supported by the carriage frame; and a lifter which is linked to the carriage frame and is capable of supporting and transferring an object on a floor. Each of the two travel units has: a driving wheel supported by the carriage frame and capable of rolling on the floor; a drive mechanism for rotationally driving the driving wheel; and a steering mechanism for directing a direction in which the driving wheel rolls to a desired angle. When viewing from above, a contact area on the floor of each driving wheel of the two travel units is located outside a contour of the object supported by the lifter.
