Title:
OBJECTIVE LENS DRIVING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3863782
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens driving device in which no force in the direction vertical to a guide shaft 41 works on a lens holder 3 without arranging tracking magnets axially symmetrically.
SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a focusing coil 51/focusing magnets 52a, 52b, tracking coil 61/tracking magnet 62, and first magnetic pieces 71a, 71b, 72 which are mounted on a lens holder 3 and which are each arranged at a position oppositely facing the center of these magnets 52a, 52b, 62. The two focusing magnets 52a, 52b are arranged axially symmetrically to the guide shaft 41 in this objective lens driving device. At the position oppositely facing these focusing magnets 52a, 52b on the lens holder 3, there are arranged second magnetic pieces 73a, 73b, so that the resultant of the attracting force that works on the first magnetic pieces 71a, 71b, 72 is balanced with the resultant that works on the second magnetic pieces 73a, 73b.
