Abstract:
PURPOSE: To decode a maximum value and a minimum value of observed data efficiently by sending the maximum value and the minimum value of sampling data and allowing a receiver side to receive data while interpolating the value between the maximum value and the minimum value and data of adjacent blocks.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of real time transmission, an output means 14 of a transmitter 2 modulates a maximum value and a minimum value of sampling data for each block and communicates the transmission signal to a transmission line 5 in wired or radio communication. In the case of not real time transmission, the data of the maximum value and the minimum value for, e.g. one hour or one day are stored and outputted to the transmission line 5 in wire or radio communication. A maximum value and minimum value detection means 21 at a receiver side discriminates the maximum value and the minimum value of the block at the receiver side and stores them based on the maximum value and the minimum value included in received data. Furthermore, an interpolation means 22' of a data decoding means 22 applies interpolation processing tying, e.g. the maximum value and the minimum value with a straight line based on the maximum value and the minimum value for each period.
