PURPOSE: To perform highly accurately alignment, by installing a composite optical system, having a total reflecting surface and a half mirror surface and forming each image of both surfaces within the same visual field, in the point midway between a working tool and a workpiece, and projecting and observing these image with a lens system.
CONSTITUTION: A first prism 3 is set up in the point midway between a punch 1 and a die 2. An image of a punch 1 is reflected by a half mirror surface 4 of the prism 3, and it is turned over by a total reflected surface 5, passing through the half mirror surface 4. On the other hand, an image of the die 2 is reflected by the half mirror surface 4, and it is superposed on the image of the punch 1 on the same axis. these images are reflected by a total reflecting surface 7 of a second prism 6, magnified by a condenser lens 8 on a telecamera 9 for image-formation, and it is displayed on a monitor television 10. Therefore, alignment for both is performable while observing the image on the monitor television from the front, thus accuracy is improvable.
