Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect the obstacles existing at both side of a vehicle together with reduction of the vehicle width end to improve the freedom degree of designing in an unmanned transfer system. CONSTITUTION:The ultrasonic sensors 1a are provided at the front parts of the right and left side faces of a vehicle body so that the detection areas are formed at the rear oblique parts along both side faces of a fork lift F. At the same time, the ultrasonic sensors 1b are provided at the rear parts of the right and left side feces of the vehicle body so that the detection areas are formed at the front oblique parts along both side faces of the forklift F respectively.
