Abstract:
To provide an obstacle detection device capable of quickly notifying the outside of the effect that there is a possibility that an abnormality occurs in a device, while reassuring safety.SOLUTION: An obstacle detection device 10 comprises: laser ranging sensors 11, 12 for scanning a laser beam at a monitoring area MA and receiving reflected light; and light reflection parts 13, 14 arranged opposite to the laser ranging sensors 11, 12 across the monitoring area MA. The obstacle detection device notifies the outside of the effect that there is an obstacle when a reflection position of a scan laser beam is in the monitoring area MA, and notifies the outside of the effect that it is determined that there is a possibility that an abnormality occurs at the laser ranging sensors 11, 12 or the light reflection parts 13, 14 on the basis of the reflected light of the laser beam in a direction of the light reflection part and the effect that there is the obstacle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
