Abstract:
To provide an obstacle detector for appropriately detecting an obstacle likely to prevent the driving of an own vehicle without depending on the equipment of another vehicle.
When a direct-view body is detected by body detection in an FMCW mode of high azimuth resolution, a pulse detection domain is set including a body back domain on the back of the direct-view body. Body detection is performed in a pulse mode of high distance resolution to cover the detection domain.
