Abstract:
PURPOSE:To inform dangerousness to an operator when a worker is entering into a dangerous area by using a sensor for detecting the approach of an obstruction by an ultrasonic pulse, and when the pulse is reflected on a point nearer than a set distance, outputting an alarm signal and buzzing a buzzer. CONSTITUTION:A pulse generated from a pulse generating circuit 1 is sent to a transmitting/receiving vibrator 3 through a power amplifier 5 and an ultrasonic wave pulse is outputted from the vibrator 3. The ultrasonic wave pulse is reflected by an obstruction, the reflected pulse is received by the vibrator 3, time required from the pulse sending up to its reception is counted up by a counter 7 to calculate a distance from the vibrator 3 to the obstruction and the calculated result is compared with a previously set distance by a comparator 8. When the calculated result is shorter than the set distance, an alarm signal is outputted to a buzzer driver 4 to buzz a buzzer arranged near an operator's ear. Since the buzzer is driven when an obstruction (a worker or the like) is entering into a dangerous area near a vehicle body to inform dangerousness to the operator, the operator can be allowed to evade the dangerousness.
