PURPOSE: To exactly detect the early stage contact sections of upper and lower teeth where the occlusal pressure is unduly high so as to promptly detect whether the occlusion state of the upper and lower teeth is normal or not by applying a coloring agent on one surface of an independent supporting base material and applying a color developer on the other surface, thereby constituting the occluding sheet.

CONSTITUTION: The occluding sheet 10 is used in order to detect the biting state of the upper and lower teeth. The occluding sheet 10 is constituted by applying or transferring carbon ink 14 to one surface of one sheet of the supporting base material 12 and applying the pressure sensitive color developer 16 to the other surface. The carbon ink 14 which first comes into contact with the teeth is impressed to the occlusal surface of the teeth to be treated when the carbon ink 14 surface is pressed to the teeth and the upper and lower teeth are bitten. The part of the color developer 16 on which the pressure is most strongly applied at the time of the occlusion of the upper and lower teeth develops a color when the occluding sheet 10 is taken out and investigated. Then, the biting state of the upper and lower teeth is promptly detected by comparing the colored section of the carbon ink 14 of the teeth and the pressure sensitive color developed part of the color developer 16.
