Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occludator that enables accurate and easy production of an optimal prosthesis according to a position of a mandibular joint with respect to upper and lower jaws of an individual living body.SOLUTION: An occludator 1 includes: a left and right pair of lower arch-side joint position adjustors 21 and 31 for independently adjusting positions of a left and right pair of joints 6 and 8 with respect to a lower arch 20 in a three-dimensional manner; and a left and right pair of upper arch-side joint position adjustors 41 and 51 for independently adjusting the positions of the left and right pair of the joints 6 and 8 with respect to an upper arch 40 in a three-dimensional manner. Accordingly, only the positions of the joints 6 and 8 can be independently adjusted in the three-dimensional manner while maintaining the position of the upper arch 40 with respect to the lower arch 20 at a desired position. With such a structure, only the positions of the joints 6 and 8 can be three-dimensionally adjusted with respect to the lower arch 20 and the upper arch 40 according to the individual living body with a bite plate (including wax denture) and an artificial tooth being mounted at a standard position suitable for work.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
