To provide an occupant crash protection device which can suppress an airbag from being inflated/deployed when a collision of a vehicle is actually avoided even if a rear-end collision of the vehicle is predicted, and can inflate/deploy the airbag in an appropriate timing when the rear-end collision of the vehicle actually occurs.

The occupant crash protection device 19 is equipped with a cylinder 26 for moving a rear seat 12 along the advancing direction of the vehicle, and an airbag device 20 for inflating/deploying the airbag 22 in a space 23 for deploying between the rear seat 12 and a rear window 18. When the rear-end collision of the vehicle 11 is predicted, the rear seat 12 is moved forward by driving the cylinder 26. Afterward, when the rear-end collision of the vehicle 11 occurs, the airbag 22 is inflated/deployed in the space 23 for the deploying.
