PURPOSE: To use an acceleration switch with a small current capacity by making the bigness of an current flowing to a mechanical acceleration switch for judging a collision smaller by limiting the maximum current value.
CONSTITUTION: A device for outputting a trigger signal from a microcomputer 12 when a serious collision is judged based on the output from an acceleration sensor 13 is provided with plural backup capacitors 71-74 connected in a row and charged by a collision direct current voltage. Percussion-cups 101-104 are connected respectively to respective capacitors 71-74 one by one and a mechanical acceleration switch 11 is connected to the commonly connected one end of these percussion-cups 101-104. Switch circuits 91'-94' making on by receiving a trigger signal are connected in series between respective capacitors 71-74 and respective percussion-cups 101-104 and the base terminals of respective switch circuits 91'-94' are connected to the output terminals of the microcomputer 12 through transisters 26-29 for driving.
