Abstract:
PURPOSE: To lead a treatment tool to outside through a guide pipe by combining the tip of the guide pipe to a flexible membrane such as a balloon.
CONSTITUTION: At the tip part of inserting part of an ultrasonic endoscope, a balloon assembly 50 is installed allowable to connect and disconnect. In the balloon assembly 50, a fixing ring 52 is connected at the end of a bag form flexible membrane main body 51, and the tip of a guide pipe 53 is connected integrally. The guide pipe 53 is installed in a treatment tool inserting passage 40 allowable to appear and disappear, the guide pipe 53 is inserted under the nonprojecting condition into the treatment tool inserting passage 40, and flexible membrane body 51 is fitted to a front end main body 11c, while the fixing ring 52 is inserted into a recessed groove 54. When an ultrasonic examination is carried out, a degassed water is fed from a fluid feed passage into the flexible membrane body 51 of the balloon assembly 50, and the guide pipe 53 is projected from the treatment tool inserting passage 40, as well as the flexible membrane body 51 is swelled.
