Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an adjustment of buoyancy that is substantially different before installation and after installation under an applicable configuration also after installation.SOLUTION: A pair of right and left pods 5, 5 for supporting each of turbines 7 are connected by a connecting beam 3 to constitute a sea flow power generator 1. The connecting beam 3 is provided with each of thrusters 13, 15 for sink-and-float actions and forwarding and backing actions for applying propulsion power for the sink-and-float actions and forwarding and backing actions to a connecting body 11 for the connecting beam 3 and the pods 5, 5. Rotations of each of the thrusters 13, 15 for the sink-and-float actions and forwarding and backing actions are individually controlled by a controller 17, a buoyancy of the connecting body 11 can be adjusted by the propulsion power of the sink-and-float thruster 13 and at the same time a position of the sea flow power generator 1 can be adjusted by the propulsion power of the thruster 15 for the forwarding and backing actions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
