Abstract:
To provide a drifting type oceanographic observation buoy capable of controlling its route in a small size and simple structure.SOLUTION: An oceanographic observation buoy includes: a board state floating body; a control unit and a power source provided on the floating body; a route control unit provided on the floating body for controlling a route of the floating body drifting by natural energy; a positioning device provided on the floating body; a satellite communication unit for transmitting position data and discrimination data obtained by the positioning device by satellite communication and receiving route control data for controlling the route control unit by satellite communication; and a measuring unit for lifting a sensor capable of transmitting the measurement data by supersonic waves by a lifting device, measuring underwater environment by the sensor, and transmitting the measured data by the satellite communication unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
