PURPOSE: To obtain an odorant which can change the odor of gasoline into pleasant one to improve the working environment during an oil supply work, a cleaning work, etc.

CONSTITUTION: This deodorant comprises at least one perfuming substance selected from among a natural essential oil comprising a 6-13C aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic compound having an alcohol group, a 4-12C aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic compound having an ester bond, a 6-13C aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic compound having an aldehyde group, a 6-13C aliphatic or alicyclic compound having a ketone group and a 7-11C aliphatic gamma- or delta-lactone, and a synthetic perfume. At least one of this odorant is added to gasoline to obtain odorized gasoline.
