Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an odorless liquid fuel which does not emit any unpleasant odor at the time of ignition and extinction by using linear and/or branched paraffins of a specified carbon atoms.
CONSTITUTION: This fuel comprises 12-18C linear and/or branched paraffins. Examples of the 12-18C linear paraffins used include n-dodecane, n-tridecane, n-tetradecane, n-pentadecane, n-hexadecane, n-heptadecane and n-octadecane and examples of the 12-18C branched paraffins used include 2,9-dimethyldecane, 2,6,10-trimethylundecane and 2,6,9,11-tetramethyldodecane.
