Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OFDM demodulator and its method wherein a reception performance is improved by performing interpolation in the direction of a symbol while appropriately selecting or combining methods in accordance with the situation.
SOLUTION: A low order symbol filter (101) interpolates the order of a low symbol direction and a high order symbol filter (102) interpolates the order of a higher symbol direction than the low order symbol filter (101). Detection means (24, 25, 26, 27) detect the magnitude of variation in a carrier correction value in a symbol direction, and a selection means (31) selects at least one of either the low order symbol filter (101) or the high order symbol filter (102) or suitably selects any of the weighting composite values of predicted values based on detection results of the detection means (24, 25, 26, 27). An equivalence means (32) accomplishes waveform equivalence of a carrier within a symbol outputted from a transform means (15) based on a selection result of the selection means (31).
