Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-off valve in which the service lives of a pipeline, an on-off valve itself and other devices disposed in the pipeline are prolonged without making a main valve abruptly close/separate to/from a valve seat and without generating impact pressure, and noise such as impact sound is not generated.SOLUTION: On an inner peripheral wall 52b of a valve body 52, a diameter-extended flow passage groove 76 is formed between the outer peripheral wall of a main valve 12 and the inner peripheral wall 52b of the valve body 52, and a corner part 76a on the valve port side of the diameter-extended flow passage groove 76 is formed so as to be positioned in a valve opening direction with respect to a position of an end part 12b on the valve port side of the main valve 12 in valve opening. On the inner peripheral wall 52b of a valve body 52, a narrowed flow passage 78 is formed from valve opening to the middle of valve opening, on the valve port 72 side of the diameter-extended flow passage groove 76.
