Abstract:
To provide a method for adapting Internet contents and/or services offered by a provider to an end user.
A user uses a terminal to connect temporarily to the Internet. A process running on the terminal tracks behavior of the end user and/or scans stored data on the terminal while the terminal is in an idle state and/or offline state. The process searches for and collects end user specific information, and transfers collected information or information about the collected information to an Internet service provider and/or a content provider while the terminal is in an online state and/or the idle state in order to control and/or amend the Internet contents and/or services.
