To provide a method and an apparatus for driving a cylinder and each functional group without taking technically mush time in an offset press.
The offset press keeps at least one printing unit equipped with two printing mechanism bridges. The bridge of each printing apparatus respectively comprises two printing mechanisms having plate cylinders 1.1, 1.2 and rubber cylinders 2.1 2.3. The plate cylinders 1.1 1.2, and the rubber cylinders 2.1 and 2.3 bear respectively with a shaft in a side wall. One angle controlled electric motor respectively drives the printing mechanism bridge; or a plurality of the plate cylinders 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and the rubber cylinders 2.1, 2.3, are provided. The plate cylinders respectively form the printing mechanism together with a corresponding rubber cylinder, and are connected to a corresponding rubber cylinder via a gear. Besides, the rubber cylinders are not connected by driving, and gears of the first printing mechanism and the second printing mechanism are present on two different surfaces.
